Customizable e-mails

Webdashboard users receive e-mails from Webdashboard on several occasions. For example; when you invite new users or if there are problems with reports but also invoices and financial mails. Upon request of a client we have made these customizable for all.
To customize mails, navigate to ‘Portal Settings’ in the top bar next to your profile. Then click ‘Theme’ and in the theme-menu ‘E-mail’.

Fig. 1 You will see this sub-menu ‘Email’Here you’ll see an example of the mails you receive from Webdashboard. In this menu, you can change the logo displayed at the top. You can choose between the default Webdashboard logo, choose to show your portal logo, or upload a custom image. Hover over the black-outlined box to upload your own image.

Secondly, you can alter the Closing text, which default says ‘Webdashboard’. You can for example choose to send this as ‘department X of company Y’. Or perhaps from the name of your own portal admin, so users know who to contact. Bear in mind that all e-mails, from invoices to notifications of reports failing, will receive e-mails with this new lay-out.

If you want, you can test out what a customized mail will look like by sending a test-mail. Simply fill in your e-mail address under ‘Try out e-mail address’ and a test-mail appears in your inbox.
