Reporting improvements (notification, searching, consistency, clear overview)

This time again, we’ve worked a lot on perfecting the way our users work with Webdashboard and reports, making it more intuitive and every time.

First of all, searching functionality was added. You can find this at the top of the drawer navigation menu on the left. Where in Power BI you search for workspaces, we think our users prefer searching by report name instead. If you’re actually looking for a report you cannot find, you most likely have forgotten in what workspace it is located anyways, right? This feature will speed up the time it takes to access your reports even more.

Buttons and boxes in various places have been fine-tuned. Within the workspaces, you are now able to copy existing blocks/items, and they’ll line-up neatly when you’re adding more. Also more consistent; your user groups are now sorted alphabetically, clarifying your overview.

Whenever you now update a report, you can choose to notify all users that are authorised for that report. To avoid spamming when a report is updated often, this is turned off normally and requires manual selection for it to work. Authorised users will receive an e-mail. You’ll be able to stay on top of the latest insights.
